Karolyn is our Ecology & Biology Interpretation Advisor.  She provides our team with up-to-date knowledge, information and facts about the wildlife found at Petrie Island - Grand-Maître Ecological Reserve and around our local rivers.
 
Karolyn specializes in herpetology: the study of reptiles and amphibians! She studied the effects of climate change on Ontario turtle reproduction during her undergrad and is currently completing a master's degree investigating the recovery of frog communities in the Sudbury area following the 1970s acid rain crisis.
